How is website and app development handled at Hemend?
We analyze, design, and develop your desired system, website, or mobile application based on your specific requirements, features, and needs. Please note that we currently do not offer web development services using content management systems such as WordPress.
How much does it cost to launch a custom website?
The cost of developing a custom website depends on the required features, specifications, and complexity. An estimate is provided during the initial consultation based on the overall scope of the project.
What are the main costs involved in launching a custom website?
The primary costs include analysis, design, and development. Additional expenses may include domain registration and ongoing hosting or server fees. In specific cases — such as websites with high numbers of concurrent users (typically nationwide-scale projects) — a virtual or dedicated server may be required. This can also incur additional costs such as annual server management, antivirus licensing, and file management panels (usually priced in USD on a yearly basis).
How is the payment process handled?
Upon signing the contract, a portion of the total project cost (usually 25%) is collected as a down payment. The remaining balance is paid in installments based on the project’s progress, until completion. The number of payment milestones is determined by mutual agreement, depending on the size and details of the project.
Why do prices vary between companies?
Since project analysis is time-consuming and often interpretive, different companies may understand your needs differently. If you still encounter significant price differences even after providing detailed documentation or an RFP (Request for Proposal), it may be due to factors like the use of pre-built infrastructure, or varying levels of commitment and expertise from each team. If price is your main deciding factor, working with freelancers could be a viable option. However, if long-term project sustainability and other critical elements — such as timeline, quality, flexibility in handling changes, documentation, and post-launch support — are important to you, then working with a company that follows standard processes is likely the better choice.
How much does website support cost?
Each software project includes a free support period as determined in the initial agreement. After that, a separate support contract is required. Support may include software updates, bug fixes, and user assistance. Typically, annual support costs range from 15% to 35% of the original project price, depending on the contract duration, type of software, level of support services, usage volume, and mutual agreement. If new features are needed, a support and development agreement can be signed, and any development costs will be added accordingly.
How are domain registration and hosting handled?
Domain registration fees (both local and international) are your responsibility. Local domains like .ir are registered in your name after obtaining a NIC handle (available from nic.ir). International domains like .com are also registered in your name based on current domain pricing and the USD exchange rate. Our support team will assist and guide you through the domain registration process.
How can I obtain the necessary licenses and permits?
After your website is launched, if you need licenses such as eNamad, Samandehi, or other virtual business permits, our support team will guide you through every step of the process. We’ll be by your side until all required licenses are obtained smoothly and successfully.
Will we be trained on how to use the website after it's launched?
Yes. After the completion of each project, our support team will provide training to your designated representative on how to operate and manage the website. If needed, we also offer written documentation. Additionally, for any questions about the website’s functionality, our support team is available to assist you during business hours (Saturday to Wednesday, 8 AM to 5 PM).
What programming languages and technologies do you use?
Currently, we develop web frontends and systems using JavaScript, specifically with Vue.js and Nuxt.js frameworks. Backend development is primarily done in PHP using the Laravel framework. For specialized processing needs, we may also use languages such as Python and Go. Mobile applications are developed using Dart with the Flutter framework.
